Our Story
Robyn Cade — Founder & President
Robyn moved to Texas in 1998 and spent nine years working for the largest consumer show producer in the state, where she managed events including the Austin 2001 Home & Garden Show. That experience gave her the expertise and drive to launch her own company. In 2005, she founded RJC Productions — now RJC Event Group — with a commitment to producing shows that truly serve both exhibitors and attendees.
Jeff Cade — Co-Founder & Marketing/IT Director
A Houston native raised in Katy, Jeff graduated from Sam Houston State University and built a career spanning IT management, graphic design, web development, and digital marketing. His self-taught skills across design, technology, and business operations power the marketing engine, websites, and technology infrastructure behind every RJC show.
20 Years of the Katy Home Show
The Katy Home & Garden Show was first held in January 2007 at the Merrell Center in Katy, TX. What started as a single show has grown and evolved over two decades. The show was rebranded as the Katy Home & Outdoor Living Show to reflect the growing demand for outdoor living products and services. After a pause during COVID, the Fall edition was relaunched and continues to deliver an outstanding experience for the Katy community.
Now in its 20th year, the show remains one of the premier home events in the Greater Houston area, drawing thousands of attendees and hundreds of exhibitors each season.
New Braunfels & Beyond
In July 2023, RJC Event Group relocated to New Braunfels, TX, expanding our reach into the Texas Hill Country. Today, we produce multiple events across the state, bringing the same quality and professionalism that made the Katy show a success to new communities.
